Deregistered companies: Why prevention is better than cure

Ever since its inception, Corporate Social Investment has been an integral and important part of the firm’s business and structure and remains integrated in the Van Huyssteens family. Over the years, no less than 11 gala fundraising evenings in the form of Charity Balls have been held alongside numerous other charitable projects in and around the local community. Income generated from the sale of tables and tickets for events as well as from items auctioned off at these events has been in excess of R2 million to date and distributed amongst the needy.

Organisations that have benefitted as a result include old age homes (Uncle Ben’s Den) and childrens’ homes (Huis Ebenhaeser) as well as various other organisations such as Pathways and Religious Jumpstart Accounts.
